These terms govern your use of Afyacon. By registering or using the platform, you agree to them. If you use Afyacon on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Facilities, suppliers, biomedical engineers and medical personnel apply to join and are reviewed by Afyacon. We may approve, decline, suspend or remove any account to protect the integrity of the network. Accounts are provisioned with a temporary password that must be changed on first login.
You agree to provide accurate registration and credential information and to keep it current. Professionals' profile changes are reviewed before they go live. Providing false credentials is grounds for removal.
Local orders placed before the Friday 12:00 noon cut-off are consolidated for that weekend's delivery; later orders roll to the next cycle. Import orders are grouped into shared containers on a published schedule that may shift with volume. Prices are shown in KES and may change with market conditions.
Payments are made via M-Pesa Paybill using your facility account number, or by bank deposit with slip upload, and are verified by Afyacon before an order advances. You are responsible for paying for goods you order.
Suppliers agree to fulfil orders against anonymous facility account codes and not to attempt to identify, contact or solicit facilities outside the platform. Circumventing Afyacon to transact directly is a breach of these terms.
When a professional responds to a facility's job request, the parties may contact each other directly. Afyacon facilitates discovery and verification but is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any engagement, contract or payment between a facility and a professional.
Afyacon coordinates purchasing, logistics and verification but does not manufacture goods or employ professionals. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for product defects, professional conduct, or indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months.
We may update these terms and will post the revised version here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
